The man who helped save 669 children

Would you send your child away if it might save their life?

The film plays from YouTube. Open on YouTube

In 1939, Nicholas Winton helped organize the rescue of 669 children, most of them Jewish, from Czechoslovakia. Working with refugee workers and foster families, he helped turn paperwork, fundraising, and train journeys into a chance to survive.

Behind every number was a child—and a family making an impossible choice.
